Some contents of Workshop are:-

• 1. Introduction to various cubes and similar puzzles.

• 2. Learn how to solve a 3*3*3 cube.

• 3. Demo of solving various puzzles.

• 4. Tips and Tricks for getting faster at solving cubes.

• Workshop:

• The first session of the event is workshop session.

• Workshop 1:The workshop is based on the development of cube solving skills of the pupil involving the 3*3*3Rubik’s cube. In this session, the participant will be taught the beginner’s method for solving the Rubik’s cube. Further, there will be given brief introduction about speed cubing involving the CFOP method.

• Workshop 2: The participants will be taught how to solve a Mirror cube. Hence, the second workshop is totally based on the development of the Mirror cube solving skills of the pupil.

Competition:

• The second session of event comprises of two different competitions:

• 1) Rubik’s cube competition / speed cubing

• 2) Mirror cube competition

• 1) Rubik’s cube competition / speed cubing:

• Round 1: participant have to solve the given cube within 120 seconds. If they solve the cube in 120 seconds or lesser time then they will be qualified for the next round.

• Round 2: Participant have to solve the given cube within 90 seconds. If they solve the cube in 90 seconds or lesser time then they will be qualified for the next round.

• Round 3: This is the final round. Participant have to solve the given cube within 60 seconds. If they solve the cube in 60 seconds or lesser time then their average time will be calculated.

•The participant with the lowest average time will be qualified as the winner of the Rubik’s cube / speed cubing competition. The participant with the next lowest average time will be the runner-up.

•2) Mirror cube competition:

•Round 1: participant have to solve the given cube within 300 seconds. If they solve the cube in 300 seconds or lesser time then they will be qualified for the next round.

•Round 2: Participant have to solve the given cube within 200 seconds. If they solve the cube in 200 seconds or lesser time then they will be qualified for the next round.

•Round 3: Participant have to solve the given cube within 100 seconds. If they solve the cube in 100 seconds or lesser time then their average time will be calculated.

The participant with the lowest average time will be qualified as the winner of the Mirror cube competition. The participant with the next lowest average time will be the runner-up.
